Mediterranean beaches are just 20 mins away containing stunning ports, seafood restaurants, bars and superb sandy beaches. 10 kms north of Beziers and 30mins from beautiful mountains and national park, the area offers excellent safe beach bathing, walking, fishing, river swimming, canoeing, restaurants,seafood, wine, historic attractions (many area steeped in Cathar legends). There are numerous markets offering a fine range of fresh local produce, fish and seafood, cheeses, antiques etc etc....

Situated in a small traditional wine making village that has managed to retain its character despite the influx of tourism in other areas. Their house, a maison de vigneron (original winemakers house), has been sympathetically divided into 4 self-contained apartments. They are open all year around and welcome long winter/spring lets, weekend/short breaks, house hunting forays as well as summer sun worshipping. If looking for a few days only Tony and Marian also offer B&B.

With over 300 days of sunshine, the best temperatures in France and a largely undiscovered countryside, why not either fly (budget flights available) or drive (and take back more wine) and sample what the region has to offer?

The house is situated in the village within an easy walk of the village square (important for getting those still warm bread and croissants for breakfast each morning!). The square contains a good range of shops including butcher, traditional baker, chemist, general store, a pizza and pasta bar (to take away or eat in) and a post office. On two mornings per week there is a market in the square offering a range of produce and goods. There is a bar and a small but good restaurant in the village.

On the outskirts of the village (within walking distance if required) is a supermarket with a bar/brasserie and a petrol station.

The house contains communal facilities including a large sun terrace containing a barbecue and dining tables and chairs sufficient for all apartments. There is also a recreation room containing a comfortable seating area, full size table tennis table, baby football, a selection of board games and several shelves of books plus a computer with internet access. This room remains at a constantly comfortable temperature during the summer months. The house has a WIFI system which allows access to highspeed internet.
